Short Essay on My Mother

My mother is a homemaker. Her name is Monika. She is an educated, intelligent, and pious lady. She is my sweetheart.

My mother has done much for my proper upbringing. My mother works very hard. She wakes up early in the morning. She wakes me up for the school. She prepares my breakfast and ensures that my stomach is full.

After I leave for school, she worships in our home temple. There after she prepares breakfast for my father and my grandparents.

Once I return home, she asks me about the day spent at the school. Thereafter, she plays with me for around one hour.

My mother is my mentor and guide. Her words of wisdom are true blessings for me. She is a trusted friend, and the source of my inspiration. She helps me in my studies. She has utmost clarity of mind. She makes me understand even the most difficult topics in an easy manner. She also tells me stories at bedtime.

My mother loves and respect every member of my family. She takes care of each one of us with utmost care. My mother has sacrificed so much for the sake of our happiness. On every Mother’s Day, I make a card for my mother. I thank my mother and do my best to make her feel special.
