Vietnam is a must visit holiday destination in Asia, and needless to say, one of the cheapest. And to experience it all, I and my family booked ourselves a 5 nights 6 days travel package to Vietnam. We had come across TravelTriangle’s easy to access and neat website on Google and we chose this portal for our holiday bookings because of the excellent reviews it had received.

They took great care of all our concerns throughout the trip and let us mould it the way we wanted to. Our agent was constantly on toes to help us out with everything we demanded. Once all bookings were in place, we set off to the fascinating land of Vietnam.

After a filling breakfast, we proceeded to Mekong Delta to kickstart our 5 nights family trip to Vietnam. Our tour guide picked us from the hotel and dropped us at the bus stop from where we were to take our bus to Mekong Delta. It’s a four hour journey from Ho Chi Minh city to Mekong Delta, which is famous as the place where the Mekong river empties into the sea.

Luckily, we found an Indian restaurant nearby where we had an awesome lunch. Later in the evening, we went to the local market for shopping. Hanoi is indeed the best place for street shopping! We bought so many things like perfumes, T-shirts, earrings, antique home decor items, bags, footwear, and much more. We also indulged in a spa therapy which turned out to be the most relaxing thing after a tiring day.

These two days that we spent on the cruise were the most exciting! We started from Hanoi towards Halong Bay in the morning and it took us around 3.5 hours to reach. After some quick snacks at the port, we were taken to the main cruise via a small boat. This was the first cruise experience for all of us and we were very excited.

The Oriental Sails cruise was unbeatably beautiful and the rooms were quite spacious. During lunch, we were served typical Vietnamese food that we thoroughly enjoyed. After lunch we hung about the deck and our rooms, reveling in each other’s company.
