Can money buy happiness? – Short Essay

Money is a legal tender that can be used for transactions. It curbs the issue of trade by barter and set a standard measure and a yardstick for measuring the worth of a commodity. Money is used by a commodity not emotion.

Happiness is a noun derived from the adjective happy. Happiness is an emotional way of expressing a state of been elated or happy. What causes happiness differed from one individual to another and how it is being managed.

Money is a must for every human being, it is one of the necessities of life, in one way or the other money must be made. In modern world, it seems, money is the only means of carrying out transactions either with cash or electronic mean. Whether a rich man or a poor man, we all hold money.

A wealthy man will be able to use his or her money to buy anything he/she wants to the limit of his worth but a poor man uses his little money to feed himself even it might not be enough. A wealthy man can buy latest Range Rovers, Ferrari, and Bentley etc. which will make him happy while a poor man can use his little money to buy food that will satisfy him and make him happy. It’s about cutting your coat according to your size.

State of mind is the most important thing when it comes to happiness, it’s an emotion that speaks about your well-being. Thus, a state of mind can never be bought with money. There situations whereby wealthy man still feels sad due to some circumstances.

In conclusion, Money can never and will never ever buy happiness, it is what you crave for, you can only be happy if you choose to be happy. Be prayerful, be fearless, fearful, love yourself, careless about intimidation and always choose to be happy, this is the ways you can always be happy.
