However, in crucial times of COVID-19, nothing comes without restrictions and so is the case with the reopening of the tourism sector. While India is battling its way out of coronavirus and the cases are still on an increase, it is of utmost importance to pack our new travel essentials i.e a mask, gloves, and a negative report of your COVID-19 test. Jammu & Kashmir Opens For Tourists Arriving By Air Only!

Guidelines:

  • Only travelers arriving by flights are allowed to enter the state.
  • All tourists have to prebook their hotels and houseboats.
  • Return tickets will be checked by the authorities.
  • All travelers will have to take the RT-PCR testing as soon as they enter J&K and till the time the results come they have to wait in their hotels.
  • Taxis will be booked through the hotel the traveler stays in.
  • All travelers must have the Aarogya Setu app installed and updated on their mobiles.

Himachal Pradesh Is Now Open For All Travelers!

Guidelines:

  • Get yourself tested at ICMR-accredited laboratory and in a duration of the last 72 hours.
  • Carry your negative COVID-19 test report with you.
  • Travelers have to stay in Himachal Pradesh for a minimum duration of 5 days.
  • It is mandatory to pre-book hotels for at least 5 days.
  • All travelers have to register on the COVID e-pass software before visiting the state.
  • All travelers must have the Aarogya Setu app installed and updated on their mobiles.

Goa Opens Its Doors For Domestic Travelers

  • The state government has announced Janta Curfew till 10th August.
  • Janta Curfew Timings: 8 pm to 6 am

Uttarakhand Removes Travel Restrictions!

    Guidelines:

        • All monuments, national parks, and temples are now open.
        • All hotels and resorts can be pre-booked by travelers.
        • All travelers can visit the state with a negative COVID-19 test report.
        • The state is offering RV caravans so that social distancing can be practiced.
        • All travelers must have the Aarogya Setu app installed and updated on their mobiles.

      Rajasthan Eases Travel Restrictions!

      Guidelines:

        • A negative COVID-19 report is mandatory.
        • All monuments, wildlife safaris, and biological parks are open for tourists.
        • Monuments will be open on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
        • A group of a maximum of 5 travelers will be allowed together at any tourist attraction.
        • All travelers must have the Aarogya Setu app installed and updated on their mobiles.
