There are also picnic tables, but the park does not allow visitors to bring any kind of food. They are just for taking a break or chatting with other dog owners. 2. ZBonz Dog Park

This is another perfect fun location for both large and small dog breeds! Zbonz Dog Park has two separate areas for dogs depending on their size, two shelters, water fountains, and agility items. Imagine having 10 acres of open space for your dog to run around, play, and socialize with other dogs. A dream! Also, this is one of the most popular dog parks in Fort Worth!

Make sure you don’t plan your visit on a Monday since this day is reserved for maintenance. Sometimes the park is closed after rainfall as well. Moreover, we recommend checking the park rules here to ensure you and your dog meet the requirements. 

3. Bark Park at First Flight

Bark Park is a fenced space measuring around 3,200 square feet and is located inside First Flight Park. One important thing to note is that this park is only suitable for small dog breeds or puppies because there’s not enough space for larger breeds. The park is recommended only for dogs weighing no more than 20 pounds.

There is no entrance fee, but all pets must be licensed and vaccinated for rabies. When entering and leaving the park, you must keep your pet leashed. There’s a lot of noise around entry and exit points, including other pets, so your furry companion might get startled and run away.

4. North Z Boaz Park

North Z Boaz Dog Park is a 10-acre area where your puppy will have the best time of its life! There are swimming holes, obstacle courses, and lots of buddies to exchange experiences with! 

You’ll have a great time since the park is located on a former golf course site. Why? Because you’ll be able to go for some quiet walks on the natural trails the area offers, enjoying the nature and the scenery. These trails take you through beautiful hills and grasslands. Just like other dog parks in Fort Worth. Golden Triangle Dog Park has two separate enclosed areas for small and large dogs. It is near Golden Triangle Business Park and Paddock Place Office Suites and features benches for dog owners and water fountains for their furry friends.

6. Calhoun Dog Park

Calhoun Dog Park is located near the South Main Area within Calhoun Park. Since there are few dog parks in this area, your dog will appreciate you taking it to Calhoun Dog Park! It’s worth mentioning that there’s no separate space for small dogs, so if you’re worried, keep an eye on your puppy. 

We recommend bringing toys and water along, as there aren’t any. Still, we’re sure this little urban park will make for a well-spent evening!

7. Trinity Park

Although it’s not a designated dog park, Trinity Park is dog friendly. You can bring your pet on a leash and enjoy the beautiful natural walking trails. It has designated picnic areas where you can meet other dog owners and enjoy an evening together. Moreover, the benches are located in the most beautiful spots, so you can take a break from walking and enjoy nature’s beauty!

One important thing to consider is to keep an eye on your furry friend, as you may stumble upon wild animals, such as raccoons.
