Short Paragraph on Artificial Ecosystem

Natural ecosystems exist naturally in the world. However, several ecosystem types can also be human made. They are called Artificial ecosystems or Human made ecosystems.

Artificial ecosystems include gardens and garden ponds, man made lakes (such as quarry lakes), and land that has been used for agriculture. In fact, human agriculture has vastly changed the landscape of the world, transforming grasslands and forest ecosystems into fields that have been divided up and used for crops.

Another example of a human made ecosystem (artificial ecosystems) is an afforested plot of land – a forest ecosystem that has been created as a result of humans deliberately planting a group of trees.

As the above section on artificial ecosystems demonstrates, humans have the ability not only to destroy ecosystems (through destructive practices such as deforestation) but also to create and to preserve them. It is to this healing and environmentally friendly power of humans that we must turn if we want to preserve our world for future generations.
