Day 1: Hello Phuket

The first impression of Phuket was, perfect. The calm environs, and the roaring seas greeted us very well. We arrived at the airport and were transferred to the APK Resort & Spa. Post finishing the check-in process we rested for a while and went ahead to explore the popular attractions.

It was a great feeling to explore such lesser known places with my better half. Our first day in Phuket was a little laid-back as we explored the Tiger Kingdom, walked along the shoreline of Patong beach, and wrapped the day by indulging in little shopping at the Jungceylon Shopping Mall.

Day 2: Tour de Phi Phi Island

We finished our breakfast the next day and geared up for the tour of Phi Phi Islands. The weather was awesome and we were charmed by the monsoons in Phi Phi Island. We cruised the crystal clear waters of Phi Phi Islands which was a tremendous experience indeed. Later on, it was time to dive in and enjoy every bit of snorkeling as well.

Though it is not mandatory to pay the fees, for those who’ve not included snorkeling in their package can enjoy snorkeling by paying about 400 THB per person. We enjoyed every bit of this island which treated us to the most surreal view of the beach, turquoise waters, and the best snorkeling experience.

Day 3: Tour de James Bond Island

This day was dedicated for the tour of James Bond Island. Post finishing the breakfast at the hotel, we boarded the long-tailed boat and embarked on our tour to explore the paradisiacal James Bond Island. The ride was quite adventurous as it was also raining very heavily.

We relished a sumptuous lunch at the Muslim Fishing Village which is a great place to be explored. Offering peaceful environs, one can just walk endlessly through the fishing village. Later we also experienced the best of kayaking on James Bond Island which is a must for all the honeymooners.

Day 4: Hello Krabi!

On the fourth day, we were transferred to the island of Krabi via a ferry. The whole journey was too slow and tiring. We reached our destination late in afternoon and checked in at the Ibis Styles hotel which is a lovely place to stay indeed.

We rested up for a while and in the later half of the day, we strolled around the beaches of Ao-nang, and also enjoyed a bit of street shopping which was followed by a late dinner.

Day 5: Island Hopping At Its Best

Island hopping is much famed in Krabi and we had saved the best experience for the last day. With a lot of excitement, we started our fifth day for island hopping across the four islands of Chicken Island, Tub island, Poda Island, and Penang Island.

All the islands were mesmerizing and so thrilling. We were served a delicious lunch at the Poda Island which is a very scenic place. Later in the day, we also enjoyed a bit of snorkeling post which, we went back to the hotel due to heavy rains. It was indeed a lovely experience.

Day 6: Bidding Adieu To Krabi

From the weather to the Tiger Kingdom, and from snorkeling to island hopping, we had created some of the best memories forever. We were a bit skeptical in the beginning but at the end of our vacation, we were really happy to be bidding adieu to such an incredible paradise with a bag full of memories.

The only scenario where we stumbled a little was at Phuket. Our experience with APK Resort was not as expected.
Also, we missed out on paragliding as it had been temporarily shut down due to few accidents in the recent past.

One of the major reasons we wanted to visit Thailand was to get a taste of the vibrant nightlife we had heard so much about. So when we reached our hotel in Phuket, we relaxed for the day and then head out in the evening. We spent the night roaming around Bangla Street which is packed with a variety of eateries, clubs, and bars. The bright neon lights that line up against the street add a fun touch to the shops and restaurants. We had a fun-filled night exploring the area and making the most of our first day in Phuket.

Well, technically day 2 for in Phuket was for the city tour but we had a change of heart. So we rented a bike and set out for some exploring. We visited the Big Buddha and then stopped at two amazing beaches. Karon beach was our first stop which was such a beautiful expanse of blue sea ahead os us. The next beach we visited was the famous Patong Beach where we spent some leisure time and enjoy the waters. Ditching the city tour for the bikes was a great idea and something different for sure. We were free to roam around and make as many stops as we wanted to, all while enjoy the cool winds and pleasant weather.

Now, this was something we just didn’t to miss out on. On our second day in Phuket, we woke up at 7 am and proceeded for the port. We got on a big boat and started the tour. Sailing on the water we saw some breathtaking sights that I’m never going to forget. But oh the best part was the beach on Phi Phi Island. The water was one of the clearest I’ve ever seen. We also had lunch here but there were a couple of other options like Mcdonalds in the area that you can try as well.

On the last day of our trip, we decided to go for the infamous James Bond Island Tour. Since we were staying in Phuket the drive was quite the journey to the island. But once we reached the tail boat, all our exhaustion drained and we were super excited for the tour. I had a notion that the traditional boat might be a little uncomfortable but I was proved wrong! My wife and I loved every bit of the ride. We also stopped to enjoy some kayaking in the still waters while out guide clicked some great pictures of us. We spent an hour on the island itself and then headed back. On the back, we also made a stop at Muslim Fishing Village where we enjoyed a delicious lunch.

1. Krabi: Going Island Hopping!

As we landed in Phuket on the first day of our holiday, we were transferred to Krabi where we checked into our resort named, Apple A Day Resort. The next day, after a delicious breakfast, we set out on a Four Island Tour. First Up was the Chicken Island where enjoyed swimming among the beautiful fishes and clear waters. Our daughter enjoyed this experience as well and I would definitely recommend this tour to families looking for things to do in krabi with kids.

From there on, we walked the sand bank to Tup Island which was just as beautiful. We hopped in for some exciting water sports at Poda island and lastly we relaxed at Pranang Cave Beach. These islands are certainly one of the best places to visit in Krabi with kids.

After an exciting 4 island tour, it was time to pack our bags and head back to Phuket. After a quick boat transfers, we checked into our hotel and spent the rest of the day at leisure. 3. Phuket: Experiencing The Vibrancy Of The City

We had saved the second last day of our vacation for a Phuket city tour. We put on our walking shoes and head towards the Rawai Beach and Nai Harn Beach. On the tour we also visited the Chalong Temple which is the largest temple in the city. This should be on your list of places to visit in Phuket, for sure. And of course, how could we forget the World Gems Gallery which has some of the most luxurious stones and jewelry. After spending a day exploring all the major attractions, we head back to our hotel to catch up on some rest before our flight the next day.

As I mentioned before, Phuket is certainly an amazing place for non-vegetarians in terms of food. We indulge in amazing seafood varieties as well as sampled some of the local delights. We happen to dine at one of the Punjabi restaurants and had an amazing time.

Visiting the Phi Phi island was one of our best experience in Krabi. This day after having a hearty breakfast, we proceeded to the Phi Phi island by ferry as a part of our Phuket Krabi Itinerary For 6 Days. The half-day Phuket city tour was quite an enjoyable experience. We drove along the most beautiful beaches in Phuket such as Patong, Karon and Kata. This tour gave us a chance to cover almost all the popular points in Phuket city. We went to some of the famous temples in Krabi including Wat Chalong. Tuktuk ride was a different experience altogether which we thoroughly enjoyed along with our visit to cashew and pearl factory. A walk in the old part of the Phuket city which is one of the must-do while in Phuket was also a thing to cherish. 3. The Incredible Four Island Tour

Visiting the four island tour by longtail boat as a part of our Phuket Krabi Itinerary For 6 Days was the best experience we had in Krabi. All the four islands that we saw – Koh Poda, Koh Gai (Chicken Island), Koh Tub and Koh tops were mesmerizing. We also visited the beautiful Phra Nang Cave Beach on the Railay peninsula. The lunch served was also delicious and very well organized. The rock climbing experience was also one of a kind. Later, after we were done with the tour, we went to our hotel. Needless to say, this tour truly felt like we were in paradise and it was one of the most rejuvenating days of our trip.

On the very first day of our trip, we visited some of the most extraordinary natural wonders of the world in Krabi. Krabi is a beautiful province with 160 kilometres of coastline along the Andaman Sea in southern Thailand. On our first and second day in Krabi, we stayed at Inn ao nang. The room here was spacious along with the breakfast facility. In Phuket, we stayed at the Ashlee plaza Patong hotel and spa for the third, fourth and fifth night as per our Phuket Krabi itinerary for 6 days. The overall experience was quite comforting along with an excellent hotel location.
