Ellie’s Elephants: A Video on Asian Elephants !
This is a guest post for a school project. We hope you enjoy Ellie’s presentation on Asian elephants!
There are elephants in both Asia and Africa, which are continents. For my presentation I selected Asian elephants, which are smaller than African elephants. Here is a picture of my post on elephants!

Here are a few facts you should know about Asian elephants:
- They are herbivores and eat plans. Small Asian elephants can be hunted by tigers!
- Asian elephants are smaller than African elephants. They have two domes on their head!
- They are the largest mammal on the Asian continent. They live in the forest.
- Elephants are so smart they can recognize themselves in a mirror!
- The oldest Asian elephant was 89 years old!
My Asian Elephant Video
I went to the zoo to see Asian elephants in person. They’re so big! In the video below, you can hear me discuss what they eat, their habitat, and how to protect them!
Asian Elephants are Endangered!
Asian elephants are endangered. This means they face the threat of extinction if people don’t do more to help them. Elephants are losing their habitats, to save the species we must protect the forests they live in!
Thank you for reading my presentation and watching my video!
